About the Artist
Growing up in rural Michigan, it was pretty common to find Heather glued to her sketchbook. With an affinity for art from a very young age, it was no surprise that she pursued her passion by attending the prestigious Ringling College of Art and Design majoring in Illustration. She graduated with honors and found herself heading to California to take part in the booming tech industry.
Heather has since worked in many of the leading mobile game studios in the Bay Area such as Zynga, Storm8, and Jam city. She has helped lead popular products like Snoopy Pop, and create the wonderful characters and environments in many games including Dream Zoo, Bubble Mania, Hungry Babies, and more.
In 2018 Heather took the jump to a freelance art career, and shares that time with her Fine Art business. When she’s not plein-air painting, illustrating for clients, or making comics about her life, she’s often found hanging out with her husband and animal family in California.
